An interesting little series in which a girl gets trapped in a huge waterball. Series done by Artefoster.

Bubble by Artefoster

This comic is an exploration of the difficulties of getting stuck in a water ball or bubble, a surprisingly good and potentially humiliating experience. You would be on display like a glass elevator but you can still travel about, just not get out or do much. You’re as stuck as the hamster in its ball.

These water balls are available, and for safety aren’t meant to be opened from the inside. The reason is simple: if you were on the water and stupid enough to open it, all the air would rush out and the water would collapse the ball against you, like a vac bed, and that could be deadly. On the other hand, until someone unzips you, once inside you can be rolled or pushed about whether you want it or not, and even if on land you run away, you can’t really get away…

I especially wanted to get this bubble set up because I’ve enjoyed so much of the bondage ball and bubble theme that is fairly popular on Deviant Art, and think others might like it. Especially if you want a version where no magic or scifi is involved (which I’m not against, btw!).

Most of the comic is in the Bubbled Girl folder. Sorry about the scruffy appearance of a scanned pencil drawing, which doesn’t show well, perhaps, against all the wonderful color stuff. It would be fun to polish and color it, but time and tech savviness is sorely lacking.

Strictly speaking, on examination most of the water balls have a big zipper pull on the outside, and no handle on the inside, and take a good hard pull to open and close because of the rubbery sealing quality. Then they have a stick-on plastic flap over the outside of the zipper besides. But I don’t think the zipper goes beyond the opening like this one, although it would make sense to do so. Picking at the zipper from the inside looks impossible all the same, which is the idea.

Last one for a bit! I do have more started, just have to finish up the story.
