This absolutely fantastic nanomachines mechanization story by jarjarjarjarjar follows quite the genius inventor John, many years in the future. Even though John has a genius mind, his body has betrayed him all his life, and he’s barely capable of surviving without all kinds of medical supplies, breathing apparatus, and a special suit that keeps up his blood circulation. Having made a lot of scientific research on nanomachines, John had always the vision of using them to maybe fix problems within his body. Sadly though, nearly every government on earth immediately banned the use of nanomachines on biological material, understandable being very concerned about their potential damage. As a result, all nanomachines manufactured had that block integrated on their very base level, making it impossible to somehow reverse that. But there actually had been a set of nanomachines that didn’t have that blocker. Some very first generations hadn’t been made with that blockade, and John had managed to get his hands on some of them. The issue was just that their memory was so small, they head to be reprogrammed every 24 hours. Eventually leading to a store called “Techno SurfaceWare”, she begins looking around if they had any good costumes. Sadly, though, the store was mostly sold out, as Trish hadn’t been the only one looking for something for the party. After explaining her desperation to the owner, Mike, he relents and shows her something that could work, but would require quite some effort on Trish’s part. In the back of the store, Trish discovers an absolutely stunning chrome / golden robot which actually was a suit that someone could wear. Instantly falling in love with the magnificent look of the robot, Trish determines, that that would be her costume. But then Mike starts bringing up some complications with it, as the entry into the suit was very complicated and couldn’t be done, or get out, without his help. The problem was, that he was only here for a short time and wouldn’t be back at the store until the next day, which would mean Trish would be stuck inside the costume for the entire day, night and next morning, until she could get back to the store and be released. Reluctantly, she still agrees, as she’s certain the absolute masterpiece of a costume would earn her the most attention at the coming party… ...

With Arij secretly buying such a suit, she begins getting dressed in it as a surprise for Nozuru, but messes up the initial settings and gets eventually trapped inside it. Once she had finished dressing, the suit got activated and took over all her functions and began filling her mind with all the tasks and data she needed to know, while fully transforming her into an obedient drone. Barely able to believe what she sees, the figure seems to still be alive, hearing faint muffled sounds from it. Getting closer to the encased woman, Anna discovers a luxurious necklace with a large pendant. Making eye-contact with the pleading look of the encased woman, Anna manages to remove the gag, finally letting the woman speak again. Learning the history of how this entire structure came to be and how the woman, who Anna now learned was a princess of some ancient kingdom, had been encased in the first place. She’s then asked to remove the necklace from the princess and, of course, wanting to help, Anna complies with the request. She quickly finds out, though, that there might have been more to this necklace than she had been told, as the black latex around the princess’ body swiftly disappeared and instead began covering Anna.
